Latest COVID-19 update to our patients – As of 5/6/2020

OUR OFFICES ARE OPEN FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS, STARTING MAY 11TH. We are following guidelines set forth by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We will remain vigilant at abiding by proper social distancing rules, screening questions/temperature taking, and following the necessary cleaning and disinfection protocols. Please read the section below for more details.

1. Our office will contact you beforehand to ask some screening questions.

2. You will be asked those same questions again when you are in the office, and at this time your temperature will be taken.

3. Limit extra companions during your visits to the office – spouses and children will not be allowed in the office during your visit. Please make arrangements for this as we need to limit the number of people in the office at any one time. Companions are welcome to wait for you in your car during your visit. Only one guardian per minor will be allowed in the office.

4. We will ask you to do a parking lot check in – which means calling us from the parking lot when you arrive for your appointment. Most of the time, we will have you wait in your car and a staff member will notify you when your room is ready – this is in hopes of minimizing congregation in our waiting room. If the front desk requires any updates from you, they will obtain that information over the phone upon your arrival.

5. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That may mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. Please be patient with our team & understand that we are making every effort to protect your safety.

If you have an upcoming appointment – and answer yes to any of the questions below – please call us right away to reschedule your appointment as we will not be able to see you, per new ADA guidelines. (In the last 3 weeks, have you had a fever, shortness of breath, a cough, any other flu-like symptoms, loss of taste or smell, have been in contact with COVID-19 positive patients).

We appreciate all of your support and patience with the changes we have made to our policies, procedures and scheduling practices. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep our patients safe in our practice.
